Baseballbriefs.com aims to become a go-to source for daily baseball news and views. While the site is a far cry from that at this point there is nothing like setting goals. Here are a few things to know about baseballbriefs.com:
- Privately purchased the domain name, now run by Jeremey Fieldstone
- I’m a long time fan of baseball, as well as collector of baseball related memorabilia
- I am working provide views on all things in baseball, not focusing on one team or aspect
- The favorite team in the NL is the Cubs (I’m a Chicago guy), favorite team in the AL is Detroit (do not ask!)
- I think the Bonds, while having a huge ego, gets a raw deal from the media. Also, Big Mac should be in the hall of fame
- I’m starting to just get into following minor league teams but do not expect to follow them here
